Adding more property types to the filter

Rea ships with 9 property type options: Villa, Penthouse, Estate, Townhouse, Manor House, Loft, Apartment, Chalet, Contemporary Home.

To add a new type (e.g. Farmhouse, Ski Chalet, Studio):

1. In Framer → CMS → Properties
2. Click the Type field → Edit options
3. Add your new option with a colour
4. The Properties Index filter bar updates automatically

Note: If you rename an existing type, any listings using the old value will lose their filter connection. Update all affected listings after renaming.

Adding a price range filter

Rea's default filter set includes Beds, Baths, and Size but not Price. To add a price range filter:

1. Ensure the Price field in your CMS is a Number type (you'll need to convert from Text and add a separate Price Display text field for formatted strings)
2. In Framer, add a Range Input component to the filter bar
3. Connect it to the Price CMS number field using a filter condition
4. Update the Price Display text field to show the formatted price on cards

Time estimate: 2–3 hours for someone comfortable in Framer.
