The most common issues and how to fix them.

The site looks wrong after I made changes

Check 1: Are you working in the duplicate, not the original?

Open your Framer dashboard and confirm you're in the duplicated version. Rename your duplicate to something distinct (e.g. Rea — Your Agency Name) immediately to avoid confusion.

Check 2: Did you edit a component instance instead of the component source?

Rea uses components for the nav, footer, property cards, and several repeated elements. If you edit a component instance, the change only affects that one occurrence. To edit correctly: select it → right-click → Go to main component → make changes there.

Check 3: Are your Variables still linked?

If agency name or email looks wrong on some pages but not others, a variable link may have broken. Go to Variables and re-link any fields that appear as static text.

The property grid isn't showing my listings

Check 1: Are your listings published in the CMS?

Each CMS item has a publish toggle. Unpublished items don't appear on the live site or in preview.

Check 2: Does every listing have a Status value?

Listings without a Status value won't appear in filtered views (though they will appear in the "All" view on the Properties Index).

Check 3: Does every listing have a Cover Image?

Listings without a cover image may not render correctly in the card grid. Upload a placeholder temporarily if the final image isn't ready.

Check 4: Clear the Framer cache.

Try Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) to force a preview refresh after CMS updates.
